Information you provide

When you apply for a job, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, contact details, preferred work location, work and driving experience, prior DSP employment and why you left, availability, schedule preferences, answers to application questions and an optional résumé. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information in your message.

We do not ask you to submit a Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license image or other identity documents through this public website or by email.

How we use recruiting information

Our hiring team reviews your experience and availability. Selected candidates are invited to a phone or in-person interview. Shah Shipping uses submitted information, including any résumé, to evaluate candidates, communicate about applications, coordinate the hiring process, respond to accommodation requests and maintain recruiting records.

Service providers

Our application form is processed using Zoho. Our website hosting provider may also process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. These providers process information through their systems when you use the website or submit the application form.

Information collected through normal website operation

Like most websites, the hosting service may receive basic technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages and the time of a request. This information may be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.

Sharing

Shah Shipping may share application information with team members and service providers involved in recruiting, hiring, website operation and security. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and safety.

Your choices

You choose whether to submit an application or send us an email. If you want to ask about recruiting information you previously submitted, contact ops@shahshipping.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect recruiting information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive identity documents through the public application form or email unless Shah Shipping gives you a secure, verified method later in the hiring process.
